Backup is off for this workspace, or you’re signed out. Signed out, the panel reads “Automatic sync resumes after sign-in.” Sign in, or turn on Back up this folder in Backup and sync. If the strip reads “Files on this device are not in Infera Cloud.”, select Sync now. See Backup and sync.
The workspace’s files are in Infera Cloud and not yet on this device. Open the workspace to download it, or select Download to this device in the backup panel. Offline, the strip reads “Reconnect to download this workspace.”
Files changed both here and in Infera Cloud since the last sync. For each file, select Keep the local version or Use the cloud version. See Conflicts and deletion.
BioBase stops rather than sync a partial folder, so files it couldn’t read aren’t treated as deleted.
The downloaded copy didn’t match the backed-up file, so BioBase didn’t put it in the folder, and the next sync downloads it again. The same applies to “N cloud files failed verification and were left out.”
A background sync covers every workspace with backup on, and this one failed or left a warning. Opening the workspace shows its specific message. With several workspaces, the message reads “N workspaces did not finish backing up.”
The sync stopped without a more specific reason. Check your connection, then select Sync now.
The restore stopped without a more specific reason. Check your connection, then restore the version again from Version history.
Nothing was uploaded, and no files were removed from this device. Select Sync now again in a few minutes.
Another upload or download for this workspace is running; its progress shows in the panel. The variant “Wait for the current transfer to finish, then turn on backup.” appears when you turn on backup during a transfer.
Each folder backs up one workspace. Select Change folder and choose another folder.
BioBase keeps its own data there. Select Choose folder or Change folder and pick a folder elsewhere, such as one in your Documents folder.
The workspace was deleted from another device or the web app. BioBase stops syncing it and leaves the folder as it is.
Check your connection, then open the workspace again.
Turning off Back up this folder asks Infera Cloud to delete this workspace’s cloud copy, and that request did not finish. Open the workspace again until this message no longer appears. Do that before you uninstall BioBase, because BioBase retries only when the workspace is opened.
With backup off, the Data Agent’s outputs are copied from the cloud analysis environment into your workspace folder, then deleted from the environment. Every output is already in your folder; only the deletion failed. See Where your data lives.
BioBase couldn’t reach the workspace folder to copy the outputs in, so it left them in the analysis environment. Reconnect the drive that holds the folder, or select Change folder to choose one that’s available.
