Signing in

BioBase checks your sign-in when it opens and couldn’t reach Infera. Once you’re online, select Sign in to Infera or reopen the project.
The browser step was canceled or took too long. Select Sign in to Infera again and select Approve in the browser.
A second sign-in or a sign-out started while this one was open.
Infera rejected the saved sign-in, so BioBase signed you out. Select Sign in to Infera.
Infera ended this device’s sign-in, for example because an administrator revoked its access. If the message returns after you sign in again, ask an administrator on your Infera account whether this device’s access was removed.
The operating system’s credential store (Keychain on Mac, a keyring on Linux) is locked or not set up, so BioBase can’t save the sign-in. Sign in to the credential store or set it up, then sign in to BioBase again. Until then, you sign in each time you open BioBase.
BioBase reads your account’s permissions when you sign in, so access granted afterward applies only after a fresh sign-in.
Most accounts are ready once the email address is confirmed. Infera reviews some workspace requests before enabling access. To ask about yours, email hello@infera.bio.
To ask for another review, email hello@infera.bio.
When the message lists plans, each of those plans includes the feature. Compare plans under Usage and billing in Data Agent settings.
This version of BioBase uses a feature Infera isn’t serving yet. Try again later. If it continues, email hello@infera.bio.
A network or server failure returned no further detail. Check your connection and try again. If it continues, email hello@infera.bio.

In the browser tab

These appear in the browser tab that BioBase opens for sign-in.
The tab belongs to an earlier or different sign-in attempt. Close it, return to BioBase, and select Sign in to Infera again.
The sign-in was cancelled or declined in the browser. Select Sign in to Infera in BioBase when you’re ready.
Infera returned to BioBase without completing the sign-in. Select Sign in to Infera in BioBase to start again.

Data Agent

The workspace did not load from Infera. Check your connection, then select Try again.
While an analysis runs, its workspace shows Analysis running in the sidebar and the response shows the elapsed time. To end the response, select Stop. A message you send while a response runs waits and starts when that response finishes.
You sent a follow-up while the analysis ran, and Stop ended the response before BioBase saved the follow-up.
The follow-up stays queued and runs next. To discard it, select Remove message.
Usage and billing in Data Agent settings shows the reset date and reads “Credits are used up. Add overage to continue.” To continue before the reset, select Add overage, which opens billing in your browser.

Updates and downloads

Your work stays open, and the update installs when you quit BioBase.
Then select Restart to update, or quit BioBase to install.
The installer received the update but didn’t run, and trying again in the same session can’t start it.
Once you’re online, select Check for updates in Settings, General. BioBase also checks on its own periodically.
To ask about updating, email hello@infera.bio.
The Desktop Apps card in the Infera web app shows this for Windows downloads. Trying again doesn’t change it. To ask about BioBase on Windows, email hello@infera.bio. See Install BioBase.
The installer for that platform didn’t load on the Desktop Apps card. Select Try again on the card. If it continues, email hello@infera.bio.
The Desktop Apps card couldn’t load any installer. Select Try again on the card. If it continues, email hello@infera.bio.
